CONTRACT BETWEEN US WHEN BUYING A BOOK If you buy a book from us the following terms will apply :- The Contract between us: We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the books that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an e-mail to you at the e-mail address you have provided on your registration form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. Price: The prices payable for books that you order are as set out in our website, at the time of the order. All prices include the cost of delivery unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering. Any discounts or special offers are applied to the whole order and not to specific books within the order. Where an order needs to be cancelled or substituted, which has originally received a discount or special offer, then the discount or special offer will be pro-rated across all the books within the order. Delivery of books to you: We will deliver the books ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order, once an order has been made, you may not alter the delivery address. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 28 days of your order. If for whatever reason we are unable to complete your order within 28 days from your specified seller, we will endeavor to source a replacement order of similar quality at the same price or less, or we will cancel your order and issue a full refund to your account. Although every attempt is made to ensure the book images and book details are accurately displayed on our website, we cannot guarantee their authenticity, as publishers do occasionally change minor details without always using a new ISBN, therefore please note book cover images and details displayed are for illustration purposes only, and may differ to that of the actual book received, buyers should therefore check, using our ‘Ask a Question’ feature, before placing the order, to check the publication/book cover details. You will become the owner of the books you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once books have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction. Right for you to cancel your contract: You do not need to give us any reason for canceling your order. To cancel your order you must either notify us by e-mail or in writing. Once an order has been placed and confirmed, you may only then cancel the order if we are able to confirm from the seller that the order has not already been processed and dispatched. If you wish to cancel your order after your order has been processed or after you have received your order, then we will only cancel the order once the books in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the books delivered to you, we shall be entitled to deduct the cost of the books from your account. If you cancel your contract but we have already processed the books for delivery you must not unpack the books when they are received by you and you must send the books back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible Once you have notified us that you are canceling your order, any sum debited to us from your account and/or debit/credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order PROVIDED THAT the books in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you and less any charges or penalties incurred by us in processing your order. If you do not return the books delivered to you, we shall be entitled to deduct the full cost of the books from the amount to be re-credited to you. Right for us to cancel your contract: We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if :- We have insufficient stock to deliver the books you have ordered We do not deliver to your area We no longer wish to deal with you If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your account or debit/credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 28 days of your order. If you notify a problem to us under this condition, our only obligation will be at our option :- To make good any shortage or non-delivery; or To replace any books that are damaged or defective; or To refund to you the amount paid by you for the books in question in whatever way we choose.
