Biography / Description
Sambat Trust, in partnership with the non-profit organization Books for the Barrios, works with local governments and rural communities in the Philippines to establish public primary school libraries. We believe that strengthening education is a key element in empowering young Filipinos to improve their own socioeconomic conditions, and break the cycle of poverty in the country.
Money raised from book sales on GM will help fund one of our school library projects in Tanauan City,Batangas,Philippines:
