Your Account Balance

Your GreenMetropolis.com account is your online bank account. It shows how much money you have available to spend and includes all transactions you've made on your account - purchases and sales, deposits and withdrawals.

Your account balance can be accessed at any time from your account administration section. From here you can also add or withdraw money from your account. There's no minimum balance required for your account, but you must have sufficient funds available in order to make a purchase - we do not allow accounts to become overdrawn. You can credit money to your account at anytime by using a credit or debit card. Your card details are fully encrypted in transmission to Barclays Bank Merchant Services so that at no time is it visible to any third party. Funds credited to your account using a debit or credit card are classed as cleared funds, so there's no need to wait before making a purchase.

Whenever you make a purchase, GreenMetropolis.com will debit your account with the sum of £3.75 for each book purchased (there must be sufficient cleared funds available to make your purchase). Whenever you sell a book, GreenMetropolis.com will credit your account with the sum of £3 for each book sold. Credits received from book sales have a 7 day clearance period, after which date funds may be withdrawn or used to purchase further books.

You may make withdrawals from your GreenMetropolis.com account at anytime, providing you have cleared funds available. Money is transferred to your nominated bank account by our bankers, Barclays Bank. Transfers take no more than 5 working days to reach your account and are classed as cleared funds immediately.

Change your Password

For security purposes, we recommend that you regularly change your password, or whenever you suspect someone may be aware of what your password is. The process is quick and easy and is accessed from your account administration section.

You will be prompted first for your current password, before being asked to enter your new password. Remember, changing your password takes immediate effect.

If at anytime you forget what your password is, then e-mail our Customer Support team quoting your username and home address and we'll send details of your password back to your registered e-mail address.

Updating Your Details

You can update or change your details at any time by using your account administration section. You can also add an alternative delivery address, update your contact details, change your password or enter your bank account details to make a withdrawal.
