Has anyone read 'I am the Messenger' by Marcus Zusak? I've heard it is brilliant but I am having troubel getting hold of it - I was just wondering if it was worth pursuing. I loved 'Th Book Thief' and am looking for something equally as good.

Hi isaacmummy. Thought I was selling it but seems I already did...! I wouldn't have described it as brilliant. Interesting, a good story but really quite light. Not quite a beach book but not that far off! Maybe I'm being a bit harsh? My husband loved it but we both scored it about 7 out of ten... how exciting marriage gets after a few years and a couple of kids! Oh wait a minute you loved the book theif. Its not in the same league. More of a wait to rent the DVD than rush out to see the movie standard!!
