From lunchtime Thursday 4th to Wednesday 10th October there will be no door to door deliveries due to Royal Mail Strike action. This action will be followed by an unspecified programme of weekly strikes, until a resolution of the dispute.
We hope this dispute will be resolved shortly, however in the meantime we ask all our members to bear with us - orders will undoubtedly take longer to arrive both during and after the strike action as Royal Mail tries to clear the backlog of mail and therefore we ask all members to be patient.
During this time, we ask all sellers to continue dispatching books in the normal way from their local Post Office branch – most will remain open during the dispute and will continue to accept mail for posting. And ask buyers to allow an extra 7 days for delivery from when a book is marked as dispatched.
